Parent/Guardian Involvement
Newton Child Development Center encourages the involvement of all parent/guardians in their child’s education. Children will have a richer experience if the parent/guardian participates in the program. Parent/guardian-teacher conferences are scheduled once a year. This is an opportunity for discussion between the parent/guardian and teacher about the child’s progress. Informal meetings with the teacher or with administrative staff are scheduled as needed. An open house is scheduled each year. Each year a program evaluation is conducted utilizing a Parent/guardian Questionnaire.
